EXPERIENCE
I have been working independently for over 25 years in North London as a speech and language therapist and a dyslexia teacher. I have a regular private therapy case-load, mostly with children.
I have also worked in many settings including nurseries, health centres and schools. I now work mainly form my home where I have a large, modern, well-equipped clinic in Hampstead Garden Suburb (NW11).
I am married and I have 4 children of my own ranging from primary to secondary school age so my insight and experience of children has been personal as well as professional.
QUALIFICATIONS
I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1984 and I am a registered member of both the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist (RCSLT) and the association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
I am registered with the Health Professional Council (HPC) as a recognised speech and language therapist. In 1988 I obtained my RSA diploma for teachers of pupils with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia).
I have completed a course in dyscalculia. This enables me to teach maths to children, of primary- school age, using a visual and multi -sensory approach to dyslexia therapy.
